Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi

This place was insane. I remember being in awe the whole time we were there. Those vines on the pillars are thousands of little pieces of in-laid stone. HAND PLACED! The scale of design and detail was incredible. 

Lets not forget the constant cleaning that was going on and who was doing the cleaning. I’m impressed that there was a picture taken with one of the “cleaners”. That guy in the picture is real important and certainly doesn’t get the credit or compensation he deserves along with the rest of his co-workers. cheers to them.
