On the last day of 2011, Walter, his friend Teresa and I woke up early for an almost two hour drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. We spent a few hours walking around. Its incredible how the wall flows with the mountain ranges its built on. Some parts were so steep that i literally had to lift my legs to get to the next step. We got lucky because it was a clear day; with all the trees bare, you could see for miles.
We can give the award for best New Year’s Eve to December 31, 2011.
